About
Stephen Percy Harris was born on 12th March, 1956 in Leytonstone, London, Engand and is the bassist and primary composer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He formed Iron Maiden in 1975 and throughout Maiden's career has been their driving force and has insipired a generation of bass players with his signature galloping bass lines.
In recent years Harris has also co-produced both the studio and live albums and has edited Maiden's live DVDs.
