Phoenix Wright
The central character in Phoenix Wright - And Justice For All. No longer the rookie attorney of the first game but poor Phoenix still needs as much help as possible from those around. Known simply as 'Nick' by Maya, Phoenix's courtroom antics often reek of desperation and both he and those on his side have to go to extreme measures to achieve the correct verdict.

Trained by the now deceased Mia Fey, Phoenix is helped by both Mia's kid sister Maya and Mia herself - via Maya's channeling abilities. Phoenix is also helped by a third Fey female - Pearl - and has a long history with the prosecuter Edgeworth

Miles Edgeworth
Tutored by the equally ruthless Manfred von Karma, Edgeworth had a pefect record until he crossed paths with Phoenix again. The end of Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney saw Edgeworth question his vocation as a Prosecuter after he found himself accused of murder. Since the resolution of Ace Attorney Edgeworth has been missing.

Maya Fey
A medium in training Maya has the ability to summon her dead sister Mia and consume an abnormal number of hamburgers. She has an obsession with the Steel Samurai but is always on hand to help Nick whenever he needs it.

Dick Gumshoe
The local detective who's many mistakes in Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney saw his salary reduced to almost nothing. He takes pride in his work but always gives Phoenix more information than he should. Gumshoe dislikes people criticising his work and his abilities but will go beyond his job description to help Phoenix and especially Edgeworth.

The Judge
Back for more after the first game, the Judge tries to keep order in the courtroom but is easily swayed by a pretty face or a whip. Fortunately for Phoenix the Judge is willing to listen to his wild theories but is always quick to penalise if Phoenix takes it too far.

Franziska von Karma
The daughter of Manfred von Karma, Franziska made prosecutor at the tender age of 13. She is as harsh as her father and has the same rumours of witness influencing and evidence fixing. Her perfect record is tarnished by her battles with Phoenix but her ever present whip is a handy equaliser.

Pearl Fey
The cousin of Maya and Mia, Pearl has lived her whole life in a remote mountain town. She has no perception of the outside world until she meets Phoenix and helps him in his cases.
